Deezden featured in Etsy 'India Treasury' + snapshots from the weekend

It is 4:03 am now and no, I am not a morning person.
Just a bad dream and that is why I got up and logged on to my gmail,
to find that my Etsy shop has been featured in the ''India'' treasury today!
Click on the image below to see the Treasury selection:

This selection was put together by fellow Etsian ''Nitca''

Here is what I have been up to over the weekend:

Made these tags in orange, yellow and green
over the weekend for my Etsy products
and printed out my cards on a beautiful textured card paper.

Sunday afternoon, we had a very enjoyable tea-adda (adda is a very popular Bengali word meaning 'Chit-Chat', also used in HIndi). We had two of our friends join us. We discussed art and debated movies, over cups of ''chai''s and ''forest fruit infusion''s!

This is what I put together, with pesto, garlic cheese and cherry tomato slices!

And these delicate cuties were picked up from our local grocery store,
creamy and herbilicious cheese picks!

I am on my new painting as well as
working on sketches for a terrific commission.
Thanks for all the comments on my last post,
here as well as over at Vineeta's.
Love.
d.

This is marvellous. I wish I had reached in this blog before.I would call it as an inexplicable piece of art.

hi dithi,
thank you for your visiting. i am looking at the spread on your table, esp the herby cheeses and recalling fond memories of my many, many trips to beautiful switzerland (the last was in 2005).
your vibrant and colourful work is a true reflection of india so i am hardly surprised it got featured on India treasury. congrats!

since you asked, if you go to your blog's dashboard (top right), and once it opens and shows the blogs you follow, you click on the add button at the bottom and type in a blog address. then one gets to be a follower ;-)

Hi Dee!
Congratulations on the Etsy feature! What a huge (and well-deserved) honor! Your blog is one of my absolute favorites and I look forward to each and every new post of yours; your work is beautiful; so rich and filled with soul.

I also enjoyed reading the article about your home and seeing those beuatiful photos on Vineeta's (sp?) blog. I always love being able to get a sneak peek into other artists' homes!

Have a fantastic weekend!
