Title: 'Kamdhenu Maa'
(Hindu Goddess Kamdhenu, the wish-granting cow)
Size: 60 cm x 80 cm
Medium and mount: Acrylics on gallery wrapped canvas.
She has the head and torso of a woman,
The textile painted on her back has
patterns & colours inspired by MORA
My 'tota's/parrots sit on her wings
as your wish-granting angels.
This piece has taken 3 weeks of
painstaking work, well, hope to have done justice
to the awe-inspiring form of this most beautiful Goddess.

Simply Awesome Dithi. I am speechless. God bless you always....thank you for sharing with us your incredible work....:-)
You are getting more and more masterful with each painting. This one no one else but Dithi could have done. Loved the loving details, the colours, How beautiful are her eyes!! the parrots & peacock feathered wings, the mora inspired fabric. With this painting I truly aspire to have a Dithi on my walls. One day, soon!
It's beautiful. I like the little things that make it different from your earlier paintings...the Mora touch and the 'Kamdhenu Maa' written in a 'print' style.
It's so beautiful. I like the little things that are different from your other paintings....the Mora touch and the "Kaamdhenu Maa" painted as though it's been printed...
Thank you ... you sweet ladies.
Brinda: The first post was with photos taken in artificial light. I do think that the photos in this set are overexposed and one cannot see the darker tones well at all. I would like to post better photos on my flickr. Thanks.
Arch: !!! you know that'd be such a pleasure ma'am! thank you for considering my work :), really appreciate your support Arch.
Vineeta: :)! thank you, i repeat what i just said to arch, the pleasure will be mine completely...thank you for the feedback. Means a lot.
Beautiful!!! I agree with Vineeta..your painting have evolved so much..I cannot believe I have one of your paintings(early ones)..There is a magnitude of difference between them..I mean that positively!
Holy cow!! Sorry, it just came out that way :) This is one gorgeous painting Dee!!! It will take me days to observe and capture all the details in this painting. Is that a tear welling up in her eyes? She seems to be casting a loving glance at her baby, so sweet :) You have done more than justice to this painting!! Can't stop droolin'....Will she be off to some lucky customer or will she stay with you?
Stunning! I love the Mora influence and the parrots in the wings. Absolutely gorgeous!
@Pea: I know :), I never thought I'll make this journey myself. Thanks.
@Rupa: Holy cow indeed! She'll be staying with me for now :)

hello. the painting is great. but i that not the reason i'm dropping this comment. I saw your work in a tamil movie Va:Quarter Cutting. Is that your work there???
This movie has loads of creative arts happening, so just wanna confirm. But i am certain it's your painting work there!
Keep up babe!
You are awesome Dithi, I wonder why I was not following you before :)
Really Great work!! Loved the details..
With every painting, your work gets richer and more lustrous. I am wishing I could afford one of your original paintings :).
Wonderful art!
lovely Dithi...so beautiful and exquisite work :)
Hey there,
Lovely job.Nice detailing... The sun and moon eyes could've used a bit more stylization I guess. the highlight and glitter makes it look a bit cartoony (pixar style) .. may be its just me. I know nothing about mural style.
Thanks everyone.
@Anonymous who says: 'I LOVED EVERY BIT OF ITS SSO INTRICATE.. CHOK NISCHUYEE BAITHAA KOREE... CHEERSS', its no rocket-science that you are one of my Geneva friends and am wondering why on earth would you choose to be unnamed and here is my response, in pure Bengali: হ্যান মাঝে মাঝে অনেক খন কাজ করলে চোখে খুব বেথ্যা করে :)!
@Jija: It has found a buyer but I had decided to keep it home, until I deposited it to my printer's office and you have to read the last post to know how disaster struck! Am worried :( sick.
@Prem: I did not authorize any movie maker to use my work, send me a link if you can (uff these IP violators!)
@Rosh: feedback taken and will be analysed, feedback is always welcome.
Thanks again wonderful people, love u guys!
