Aditi from Once upon a tea time says that she ''is always drawn to faces in a painting''. She has started posting a selection of work that she finds interesting and Aditi writes her perspective on these portraits. She just made this wonderful post on the portraits that I do. Hop over to her pretty blog full of carefully hand-picked posts on design, art and occassionally, poetry! Thank you Aditi, your post was the first thing I read this morning and I just loved it!

Hi Dithi,
The pleasure was all mine!
Hello, I just found your blog and I'm so happy that I did. Your work is really special, so bold, vibrant, and colorful. I'm not surprised that you are self taught. It shows in your uniqueness. You have a gift and that is something that can't be taught or learned, you just have it. I will bookmark your site so I will come back again and again.
Deborah! Welcome and thank you for writing that very encouraging post! I completely loved the portraits on your blog and coming from you, this reassurance helps:)! :)))
Well Dee who could blame her, your work is so wonderful and colourful.
It is a pleasure to come to your blog.
Renee xoxo
Hi Dithi,
I had seen your work before and hadn't bookmarked it ... have to say it kept haunting me to find you again... well thanks to Aditi ... I did ... am I glad ... and to read your posts is sooooo nice a feeling ... especially your commissioned work ... Dithi you really inspire me to get back to painting ...I am an Interior Designer and a self taught painter and now a full time mommy ... but the the cravings don't die away ... lovely work like yours shakes it back to life ... thanks for being so inspiring. Your work is special.
Renee: Thank you!
Rajee: Welcome back and great to read your post. I do hope you get your paint brushes n colours out real soon. I had completely stopped painting until our move to Geneva. I started painting again to get over the loneliness and the newness of the place. Haven't stopped since.
Hope you guys had a great weekend!
