''Forest of love''

Acrylic on stretched canvas
50 cm x 20 cm (app)

I tried so that the main page shows the full size image of around 800 pixels,
but blogger is compressing it every time I publish it :(
Any ideas on how I can post a larger image?
You need to click on the image to see the actual sized photograph.
Have a great week ahead!

'Om'! Welcome! I wish my french keyboard had the features to write the symbol that your blogger name is! For now, I will have to be happy with the accents (ö, é, è, etc.)

Megha: I intend to! I have 4 paintings that need to be listed.

Hey, you guys are real fast! You posted feedback while I was still struggling with the post! LOL!

Thank you :)!

No problemo :) I am glad to be here !!!

And for some reason I am not getting the feed of your blog, but only the comments. Is that a setting that you have done?

Dithi said...

Om, I am not sure if I understand. I don't think I have changed the settings. Feed of the blog is not the same as the url of the blog, right? In fact. I need help understanding this better and how I can get the required settings.

I really like the length on this, it gives it an entirely different dimension.

You can go to the blog dashboard and then check what is mentioned under the feed settings. I think there is something not right there, because there are 4 feeds that your blog has and all of them give me the comments and none gives me the latest post on your blog...
let me know in case you need help doing that, i will try to help you over email

Gorgeous. It reminds me of Frida Kahlo's paintings. the birds, the leaves, the intensity of the colors.
Perfect!

Renèe, SM, thank you!

Jen, c'est vrai que je dormais quand tu m'ecrit ce commentaires et oui, j'ai dormi bien!

I am scared to even find out the shipping for this one, am guessing nothing less than $30.00, for sure.

Flor, Frida is an idol and she has a very strong influence on my work, in a way that I don't understand very well myself.

Me: Thank you, I love the way the painting turned out. To my mind, the colours hit you even more when you see it in person.

Om, I checked the settings, went to 'Site Feed'. Everything is set to ''FULL''. Also, Under ''Archiving settings'', the feed thing is enabled. Is there anything else that needs to be done. Thanks for the help and sorry about the inconvenience.

:)

This is a beautiful painting, as are all the others on your site! It's my first time commenting on your beautiful blog, even though I have been lurking around for a few weeks now! Your paintings have a batik effect, how do you achieve that, if I may ask? I also love the French connection since I speak French too! Keep inspiring!

Rupa, I am glad you finally decided to post here! I didn't realise that the paintigns have a batik effect, I think it is the layering of several colours (usually darker to lighter tones) that probably brings this particular effect. Hope this helps!
