New listing!

First of all, a big hug n thanks to all of you for the feedback on my last post. It was interesting reading your pick of words for each of the portraits. In fact, I changed some of the titles while listing after reading your comments

I added the patterned blocks to this series. I named them ''Patra'', or ''Leaf'' in Sanskrit. They combine very well with the portraits...am probably going to make many more of these in different colours. Simple design, striking colours.

It is past 9:00 pm here, I have no clue what dinner is gonna be like, but hey I did manage to finish my Etsy listing! :)!!!!

Rupa: glad you liked the end result!
Indian Yarn: Thank you for posting, the photographs on your blog are wonderful. I must say I am very tempted to paint the women on your blog snaps!
Chandan: This is an old snap taken inside our car somewhere near Mysore. Arnab pleaded me to stare into the sunlight and took almost 20 snaps till the sun went down. By the end of our ''photoshoot'' inside the car, I was tanned a dark umber :)))
Om: Glad to get your stamp of approval!
Thank you.

Indian yarn, to answer your question, the Bong influence may not be something I am conscious of while painting at all times, but I must admit that it will never escape me. The red bindi and the red pallu :)
